International Journalist and Author
For the past 23 years it has been my pleasure to pursue the career of my dreams, as an iternational reporter for CNN and BBC. I have travelled extensively to countries such as Bosnia, Africa, India, China, and over 90 other countries. The most recent assignment being the Kosovo Crisis, where I was posted mainly in Kutes, Albania. However the pic posted on this section was taken near a hotel that Kyle and I were hiding out in in Serbia, (where we weren't supposed to be, as the US was bombing it! DUH!), and our hotel was bombed twice! The face of human suffering hasn't changed in the 23 years I've been a reporter, the tears are still the same, the agony, the dying groans, yet the world still insists on keeping people like me employed. I wish I would be out of a job...however I am retiring from my profession as of October, and becoming a full time novelist. This decision wasn't easy for me, but after losing six co-workers over the last three years, and not feeling as immortal anymore, I made the decision to stay at home. After being shot twice, bombed at least a dozen times, and various other incidents, I felt my lucky rabbits foot might be becoming a bit tired! And why push ones luck any further? A great time, a good career, and now seeing the dream of being a published author come into being is plenty satisfaction for me.

Rose Bank Cottage My Book
Being a published author has been a dream of mine since I was six years old, and wrote the poem: I like peas with honey, I've done it all my life, It does taste kind of funny, but it keeps them on my knife! However writing Rose Bank Cottage has been the highlight of my literary dreams. Based on the real lives of my great great great grandparents and their six children, and on factual historical events, this book has been a real joy for me to write. If you are interested in finding out more about the farm,it is a living museum open to the public in New Ross, Nova Scotia. And can be found by Searching on Netscape and looking for Ross Farm Living Museum.
